Shots fired at unical students during union election

The Student Union election of
University of Calabar took a violent turn as
three students of the institution were hit by
stray bullets, Vanguard reports.
The students were said to have been hit by
stray bullets discharged from the gun of a
security officer on Wednesday during the
election of the student union government.
The four contestants for the post of the
presidency included Emmanuel Akobi, Ajang
Emmanuel, Ilefa Austin and Afo Nelson.
